During his time at Waterford, Mkhonzi served as the Logistics Executive of UWC Africa Week, a student-led event aimed at celebrating Africa. In this role, he effectively communicated and organized logistics for various events while liaising with corporate sponsors such as KFC, Standard Bank, Eswatini Bank, ENPF, and Hilton.
